PRESCHOOL

(Junior & Senior Prep)

          The Preschool adopts the XSEED Preschool Program which is aligned to Kindergarten DepEd Standards. The program has been designed using internationally accepted, research-based practices for early childhood education.

         XSEED ensures the holistic learning and growth of preschoolers. It builds the foundation for a smooth transition to elementary. Each student is valued, respected, and made to feel safe, which helps to develop a positive self-concept.

ACADEMIC FEATURES

ORGANIZED LEARNING BLOCKS

          The entire syllabus for the academic year is divided into 24 Learning Blocks. Each Learning Block represents a week of learning that includes Circle Time, Science, Math, English, Play, Art, and Story Time.

          To guarantee that Senior Prep students are ready for Grade 1, Filipino, and Computer subjects are added to the curriculum.

LEARNING PLAYLIST

This is a weekly planner/checklist containing the sequence of lessons and activities that students need to complete per day.

CONSULTATION PERIOD / SSP

A special one-on-one remedial session scheduled by either the student or the teacher to provide academic assistance to those students who may need more help with the lessons.

ACADEMIC BREAKS

These are quarterly breaks given to the students after their week-long examination for their wellness and mental health welfare.

SPECIAL LESSONS

These are quarterly co-curricular activities the students can join during their academic break.

ASSESSMENT TOOLS

Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Checklist

– monitors the holistic development of the student in relation to specific developmental domains. It aims to promote students' optimum growth and development.

XSEED Portfolio

– a tool used to demonstrate each child’s work and progress based on the learning goals and standards from the beginning to the end of the school year.

Progress Report Card

– a tool used to document individual student progress in the six developmental domains, namely, Personal-Socio-Emotional Skills, Gross Motor Skills, Fine Motor Skills, and Creative Development.
