Admission Requirements

PRESCHOOL

A. AGE REQUIREMENT (with age extension until October 31, 2022)

  • Junior Prep - Must be at least 4 years old by August 1, 2022
  • Senior Prep - Must be at least 5 years old by August 1, 2022

B. ACADEMIC & BEHAVIORAL RECORDS

  • Fully accomplished Application Form (Please see the link below)
  • Four (4) copies of identical 2x2 size photos in color with white background
  • Copy of current Learner’s Progress Report Card
  • PSA original copy of birth certificate
  • Data Privacy Policy Consent Form
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Filipinos with dual citizenship (born in the Philippines or abroad) – Valid and Unexpired Passport, Documentation for Acquisition/Reacquisition/ Retention of Filipino citizenship, Certificate of Recognition as a Filipino Citizen, or Affidavit of Dual Citizenship (if applicable)
  • Non-Filipinos (born in the Philippines or abroad) – Valid and Unexpired Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Special Study Permit issued by the Bureau of Immigration

C. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

  • Junior Prep and Senior Prep applicants for S.Y. 2022-2023 will not be required to take an entrance examination.

D. INTERVIEW

  • The interview will be conducted via Zoom app once all the requirements are submitted. Please be on time. The interview will last for 10-20 minutes only.
ELEMENTARY (Grade1 to Grade 6)

  • Two (2) Recommendation Forms (applicable only for Grades 4 -6)
    NOTE: Must be accomplished by the Principal/Guidance Counselor and Class Adviser who can provide a fairly objective assessment of your child’s capabilities and disposition.
  • Certification of Good Moral Character issued by the School Principal/School Head
  • Data Privacy Policy Consent Form
  • Additional Requirements:

C. ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW

  • Applicants will be scheduled for an assessment test and interview. The assessment test is used to evaluate the student's abilities, potential, and suitability for the school's curriculum. The purpose of the interview is to understand the student's strengths, weaknesses, interests, and any additional support they may require.
  • The assessment and interview will be conducted onsite or in the school. An applicant is given one (1) hour to accomplish the entrance test. Afterward, a face- to-face interview will follow which lasts for 10-20 minutes only.
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (Grade 7 to Grade 10)

Government Subsidy (ESC)

  • ATHENEUM is authorized by DepEd to recommend incoming GRADE 7 students from the public and private schools for financial assistance under the Education Service Contracting (ESC) program of DepEd.
  • A qualified student grantee is entitled to ₱9,000 per year for a period of four (4) years.
ESC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fully accomplished ESC Form 1 Application
  • Fully accomplished ESC Contract
  • Two (2) copies of identical 2x2 size photos in color with white background
  • Proof of Income (Please see the link below for the guidelines)

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (Grade 11 to Grade 12)

Government Subsidy (SHSVP)

  • Incoming GRADE 11 students from public and private schools are entitled for financial assistance under the Senior High School Voucher Program (SHSVP) of DepEd.
  • A qualified student grantee is entitled to ₱17,500 (students from public schools) or ₱14,000 (students from private schools) per year for a period of two (2) years.
Voucher Applicants:
  • Non-ESC Grade 10 completers from Private Junior High Schools who wish to avail of vouchers shall be required to apply for vouchers subject to an assessment of their socioeconomic status.
  • Application for vouchers is FREE of charge.
SHSVP REQUIREMENTS:
  • Recent 2x2 colored ID photo
  • Parent Consent Form
  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of latest Grade 10 Report Card
  • Certification of financial assistance received (issued by the school), if applicable when the student is under a scholarship program
  • Proof of Income (Please see the link below for the guidelines)
  • The process for applying for vouchers are as follows:
Online Submission:
  • Access the Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP) at https://ovap.peac.org.ph and follow the instructions to create an account. A valid and working email address is needed to create an account. Wait for the confirmation email to be sent to the submitted email address.
  • Upon receipt of the confirmation email, click on the link provided to access the OVAP as a registered user.
  • Complete the electronic Voucher Application Form (VAF-1)
  • Scan or take a picture of all the needed requirements.
  • Submit the application when the VAF-1 and the required documents are complete. OVAP automatically confirms receipt of application.
  • Note: It shall be the responsibility of the voucher applicant to make sure that the documents they submit or mail to the PEAC NS arrive on or before the deadline. Failure to submit the required documents shall result in the disqualification of the student’s voucher application.
Announcement of Results
  • The PEAC shall evaluate all the submitted applications based on the submitted VAF-1 and supporting documents and shall submit the results to DepEd. Results of the voucher applications shall be posted by the PEAC on its website. A qualified applicant is considered a QVR and shall be issued a QVR Certificate through the OVAP website (https://ovap.peac.org.ph)
  • Note: Qualified applicants are required to attend the registration program which shall be conducted and scheduled by the PEAC NS at selected areas in the regions. Failure to attend the scheduled registration shall result in disqualification from participation in the SHS VP. Details on the registration schedule shall be announced with the release of voucher application results.
