The Atheneum Management

ATHENEUM believes that the critical years in a human being life are from birth to six years of age, then seven to twelve and then to adolescence. During these crucial years, basic character, values, abilities, personality skills, aptitude, attitudes, and knowledge are formed. These qualities when properly guided and developed, shape the individual overall perspective and preparedness not only for college or university work but also for life itself. Experiences and learning that children undergo during the crucial years of life, have a lasting effect on their intellectual development as well as on the development of their social and physical skills.

Atty. Reynaldo C. Laserna AB, BSBA, MBA, LLB

He was a classroom professorial lecturer for ten (10) years at the University of the Philippines and the Lyceum University of the Philippines. He was Chief Legal Counsel of MetroBank and the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC). He was Vice-President and Board of Director of Petron Corporation, Bataan Refinery and many other strategic corporations in the country. He is an alumnus of the University of the Philippines and the Ateneo de Manila University.

Adelaida A. Laserna

She was consistently Number One in her class from Grade One to College. As an American Field Service Scholar, she studied for one year at Florence, Oregon, then toured the whole USE. She started her teaching career at the OB Montessori, the original Montessori School in the Philippines. She was at De La Salle Alabang for ten years and was the Head of its Prep School (Junior and Senior Kinder).

She is a cum laude graduate of Ateneo de Manila University and was the lead actress, during her time, of Tanghalang Ateneo. She now teaches college English at the Ateneo and high school English at the Atheneum. She has finished all academic requirements for MA in English and Literature Teching (Thesis Pending).

He earned his BSE-History degree, Magna Cum Laude from the Philippine Christian University. He finished his Master of Arts in Education with Specialization in Teaching History from the Philippine Normal University.
He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor degree program. .

The Atheneum Faculty

Atheneum has an outstanding faculty composed of graduates from distinguished universities such as UP, Ateneo, La Salle, PNU, etc. and honor students from universities and colleges.

Faculty members constantly undergo trainings and seminars conducted by specialist in education mostly by Ateneo de Manila University, making them equipped with the latest teaching methods.

In tune with Atheneum’s desire to incorporate information with holistic formation, its educators try to mold their students not only as competent individuals with technical skills, but also as critical thinkers
